Trying to find rental property is getting harder, but if rents are going up, why are landlords leaving and why is getting a place to rent getting even harder?

Over a year ago I created a video warning about the rental crisis and how it was going to get worse. I stated that the rental crisis was a far bigger problem for Ireland and the economy than the home-buying crisis. And that more people would suffer due to upcoming regulation changes.

I called out a number of proposed regulation changes that would have a damaging effect on the rental sector, and it played out as predicted. Ireland's housing crisis is getting worse.

But there was one change I did not see coming and what impact that would have. Which I will explain in a minute.
