This is the best travel snack that I ate in thailand almost everyday. There are lots of similar versions of it in Thailand that can be sweet or savory, and they’re all really cheap. Lots of other countries & cultures including China, Phillipines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan all have some kind of dish that is sticky rice wrapped in a leaf and steamed or grilled.
