The Uganda Medical Association has backed the medical interns to continue with their strike until their demands for better pay and working conditions are met by government.
This after the interns defied a call to return to work as government works to resolve their concerns.
The interns insist that their allowances must be raised from nine hundred thousand shillings to three million shillings monthly.
