This video shows the handing over of the Mes Aynak petition signatures to the office of the president of Afghanistan. The aim of the petition is to prevent the destruction of historic heritage that is on top of the Mes Ayank copper deposit due to mining and to prevent a natural disaster if the water resevoir under copper deposit gets polluted by chemicals released due to mining activities.
