SCT's Melbourne to Perth freight trains usually pass well after dark so this sighting at sunset was a pleasant surprise. The train consists of four modern diesel locomotives hauling a mixture of boxcars, louvre vans, refrigerated wagons, steel wagons, and shipping containers.
