This tutorial covers making An Interactive PDF in InDesign CS5 that allows you to "jump" to various pages AND you can save as a PDF or SWF.
This is a bit of a work-around but is a versatile and robust way to make a PDF or SWF from InDesign. No scripting is needed. To get the functionality on a iOS device, you will need a PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader.
