Hi guys! This is the first of the many watercolor review videos that I plan on posting. I chose to review Koh-i-Noor's Brilliant Dye Based Watercolor because it's a relatively unknown watercolor brand that's also very cheap and quite unique. I first saw it when a friend got it from Europe, and I always wanted to try it out to see if it's any good.
This is not your typical student grade paint since it is Dye Based.
And I'm sorry about the lighting and the quality of the video. I recently just got a ring light and a better phone holder. Maybe one day I'll upgrade to an actual camera. I've been eyeing the canon m50 but I'm waiting for a newer cheaper model that I can use for taking videos.
Materials Used:
Canson XL Mix Media paper for the swatches
Arches Cold Press 300 GSM watercolor paper
Parchment Tracing Paper
Pentalic Pencil
.3 Mechanical Pencil
Koh I Noor Paint
Deleter White 2 (for some of the highlights at the very end) I love this so so much
Sakura Pigma BB for some finer lineart

I'm really shy so maybe I won't show my face for some time until I get enough courage to do so. Even doing this video took a long time. I hesitated for 3 years T_T but hopefully I'll be making more.
