In a significant development being reported from down south, the villagers in the Dakshin Kannada region have decided to not participate in the upcoming Karnataka elections. This is in connection to the poor infrastructure in their village and the non-construction of roads by the government despite promises. The defiant MLA, meanwhile, has cited the Covid pandemic as the reason for the delay. The villagers said that they had given 4 years for the construction of roads and other development projects, which was not even initiated. Hence, they decided to boycott the elections.
