We made a trip to Melbourne to link up with long time illustrator and creative Adam Kinninmont at his home studio in Brunswick.
Adam has been using the Ironlak spectrum of art supplies for a minute, but most enjoys the waterbased Ironlak Aquarelle Brush-tip Twin Markers for his pop-infused hyperdelic Melbourne streetscapes. Adam's work is heavily influenced by pre-2000's automotive culture and the vivid colours of the internet vaporwave aesthetic that followed. Bright colours, poppy outlines and a personal twist that makes the art his own.
A little bit on Ironlak Aquarelles:
Create beautiful water based works with Ironlak’s range of Aquarelle Markers. Available in a huge range of vivid colours, each one comes equipped with dual nylon brush tips – allowing for both broad strokes and fine detailing. The water based dye ink utilised in the markers allows for easy manipulation – wet the surface prior to the ink drying completely and create luminous watercolour effects and translucent washes, or keep it dry to keep linework crisp. Ironlak’s range of Aquarelle products are fully compatible with alcohol based markers, including the Ironlak Striker range, so there’s no limits to your creative expression.
