Trying to access a remote network of computers I setup , but the remote end has an Internet connection via a 4G Simcard which means the carrier SMARTY implements CGNAT Carrier Grade NAT.
This means that the Internet Facing IP address is actually shared between other people and that therefore you can;t from your home goto that IP address and thru it to my remote network.
Oh. for completeness I did not exactly mention that the remote site actually has 3 ip address ranges. Not 2 as I alluded to. first the Internet facing IP address. Second the 10.x address that my 4G router gets via DHCP from the SIM provider. and Third a 10.y address range that is the remote network that I created. using my own NAT or what Linux names masquerade my 10.y address range is masqueraded to the 10.x address.
Now you know everything.
