Nigeria has experienced another nationwide blackout due to the collapse of its national power grid on Tuesday afternoon, leaving millions without electricity and disrupting businesses and essential services across the country. The Nigerian System Operator reported that power generation dropped to zero megawatts at approximately 2:00 pm, affecting all operational power generation companies. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) confirmed a 'partial disturbance' that began around 1:52 pm, caused by line and generator trippings. TCN assured citizens that its engineers are actively working to restore the power supply.
