Here’s what you’ll need:
1 pound of 80/20 ground beef.
1 pound of mild Italian sausage.
2 cups of plain breadcrumbs.
2 eggs.
1-1/2 tablespoons of my homemade Italian seasoning mix. (Don’t worry, the recipe is in the description box!)
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder.
1/2 a tablespoon black pepper.
And just a splash of milk, if needed, to get the perfect texture.
Herbs And Spices For Italian Seasoning
In addition to Bread Dipping, this Italian Seasoning can be used in many recipes.
It is fantastic in Spaghetti Sauce or used in the preparation of Italian Meatballs.
Italian Seasoning Mix Recipe
1 tablespoon: Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 tablespoon: Cracked Black Pepper
1 tablespoon: Dried Oregano
1 tablespoon: Dried Basil
1 tablespoon: Dried Parsley
1-1/2 teaspoons: Garlic Powder
1-1/2 teaspoons: Onion Powder
1-1/2 teaspoons: Coarse Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon: Dried Crushed Rosemary
3 to 4 cloves: Fresh Crushed Garlic
Instructions
Combine crushed red pepper, black pepper, oregano, basil, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, sea salt and crush garlic. Mix well. Store in the freezer.
