Sridhar admits to Saloni that he did not rape Pia and still loves her. Sridhar then says that he cannot father a child because he is infertile and shows Saloni the medical report. He confesses that he had started to ill-treat Pia so that she would start hating him and start her life afresh as she loves children. Sridhar begs Saloni to ask Pia to forgive him so that his soul will be at peace. He then says that all he knows about Pia's culprit is that he had accompanied Saloni to the goldsmith. Saloni realises that it is Abhi who is the culprit who had raped Pia! Sridhar urges Saloni to stop Pia's wedding immediately. Saloni tries calling on everyone's phones but nobody answers. On the other hand, before Saloni can reach the temple, Pia and Abhi get married. Saloni tells Pia that the one whom she had assumed was giving her a second life is the one who had raped her! Saloni informs everyone that Sridhar is not the culprit, Abhi is! Abhi is furious and defends himself. Saloni then mentions that Sridhar is infertile and can prove his innocence. Manno Bhabhi and the others refuse to believe Saloni but agree to go to the place where Sridhar is. However, Sridhar is already dead. Saloni is shattered and is not able to find the medical report either. Brijesh and others are enraged at Saloni.
