In this video I show you how to host a Mother’s Blessing also known as a”Blessingway” in Navajo tradition. This is a way to shower Mama-to-be with love and support before baby arrives Earthside.

Most importantly just bring YOU!!
A Mother’s Blessing etiquette:
-Refrain from any telling birth “horror stories”
-Do not serve alcohol or anything that isn’t healthy for pregnancy
-Bring something for Mama-to-be for postpartum, most baby showers focus on gifts for the baby and this is a wonderful way to show your support for her.
-Try to not use the term “Blessingway” as I’ve learned recently that it’s not appropriate to use unless you are Native American 🌺
