U.S. Marines conducted live fire and range maneuvers as part of the Reconnaissance Certification Exercise at Fuji Combined Arms Training Center Camp, Japan. Ranged fire and maneuverability provide Marines with the opportunity to engage and destroy targets in a dynamic environment. RCERT is a battalion-level exercise that evaluates Marines on all ground reconnaissance warfare skills and tactics. The Marines were in the 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, 3d Marine Division.
