Have been spending some time with a few young barn owls. They were fledging from the nest and testing their wings close to home. The big challenge with filming them was that they wouldn't come out until 20 minutes (at least) after sunset. So it was a high ISO/gain endeavour. Going to higher ISO/gain early on is much better than waiting until it's very dark. Bringing up the shadows in post shows the noise even more. All three files have had noise reduction done using Topaz Video AI. Shot with Sony FX6 and a Canon 600mm F4 III.
