Torrential rain led to a mudslide that damaged roads and cars in Bardonecchia, a town in the Italian Alps, on Sunday, August 13, local officials said.
Video recorded by Gabriele de Luca shows pedestrians running as a mudslide suddenly smashes through the town.
One person was injured and at least 120 people were displaced, according to a local news report.
As of August 15, the cleanup effort for roads and buildings affected by the mudslide was ongoing, according to local officials.
