After braving the snowfly forest, kicking Grissom's ass and then "measuring swords" with Rosencrantz, we get this little area. I recommend you make a quick stop by the Iron Maiden just a bit before this area and pick up the mandrake sigil which opens the door to the attic we use to zone out and respawn the Crimson Blades.

Other than that, in terms of loot these guys have bronze, iron and hagane tier loot, of particular note is the third knight we kill from the start, who can drop an iron shield pre equipped with a gem that we are unable to get anywhere else. I got lucky the previous run and got two so I can stick in a weapon and a shield when it comes down to it. I'll be here for a while, gathering some armors, melding them together to get higher tiers and the works.
