The Philippines is investigating the deaths of three Filipino fishermen killed on Monday in a maritime incident in the South China Sea. An oil tanker, registered under the flag of the Marshall Islands, is suspected to have rammed into the fishing boat. Officials said the fishermen failed to detect the foreign vessel due to poor weather, causing their boat to capsize.
