My garage previously had a small workbench in the corner which would not do.
I cut the largest sheet of ply I could buy down the middle, and built a workbench along one side of my garage with that as the tabletop.

This was a ton of work, but the result is brilliant and provides the much needed bench and storage space for this ambitious project.
