Utility of EUS to diagnose remnant stones in symptomatic patients after cholecystectomy

In a prospective cohort of 112 patients with pancreaticobiliary-type pain or acute pancreatitis after cholecystectomy, the authors showed that endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) may be useful to detect residual stones in the cystic duct stump or gallbladder remnant.
