Maple sap vacuum pump programming change. converting from PID control "Auto" using feedback from a vacuum sensor to "Manual" Control. This is useful when running a hot water rinse process at the end of the season. Or any time you would like to run the Vacuum pump at a desired speed (Hertz).
Pump speed is controlled using frequency measured in Hertz (Hz).
For example:
15Hz is 25% capacity (900RPM)
30Hz is 50% capacity (1800RPM)
45Hz is 75% capacity (2700 RPM)
60Hz is 100% pump capacity (3600RPM)
Vacuum pumps can be controlled manually at any desired frequency from 0-60Hz.
