This recording was made in November 1971 in Stockholm. The performance is superb and demonstrates the artist’s total command of the work. I would hope that soon, EMI will re-issue this beautiful recording in CD format.
In 1984, Marian Migdal recorded the Liszt sonata in B minor again for Swedish Society Discofil SLT 33268. I have not been able to find a copy of this recording to purchase. Any help would be most appreciated.
