British Railways 9F 92214 'City of Leicester' takes charge on the Great Central Railway's first passenger trains of 2021, with the railway reopening following the lifting of Covid restrictions in the UK. Services ran between Quorn & Woodhouse and Leicester North station, with the stock running empty to and from Loughborough whilst cleaning took place.
The railway also featured a display in the yard at Quorn & Woodhouse, with 37714 'Cardiff Canton' replacing GWR Modified Hall 6990 'Witherslack Hall' following an issue with the western's brakes, alongside Class 08 shunter D4137 and a collection of vintage cars.
