The English government has announced how grades will be awarded to students who were meant to be sitting GCSE, IGCSE and A level examinations in England this year (2021). It is assumed that the exam boards will announce a similar process for students in other countries who have also had their exams cancelled.
Teachers will be awarding your grades based only on material that they have taught you, so don't worry if online schooling means that you won't complete the syllabus in time. Any work or tests already completed or done before June 18th can be used as supporting evidence, so make sure to keep working hard right to the end of term.
Private candidates - please contact your examination centre as soon as possible as they will have been provided with guidelines for what they need to receive from you in order to award you a grade.
