Flows, exploitation and asylum: government approves decree law
Here are the main innovations contained in the decree approved by the Council of Ministers
In the press release published by Palazzo Chigi, we read that "the provision, in its first part, integrates the rules on entry into Italy for work reasons , already defined - most recently - with the Prime Ministerial Decree of 27 September 2023, on the planning of flows for the three-year period 2023-2025. In fact, from a monitoring carried out by the Presidency of the Council together with the competent ministries, irregularities in the application of entry mechanisms have emerged, both in relation to recent years and with regard to periods dating back further in time.
It was therefore decided to intervene urgently in order to simplify and accelerate the procedures, making them safer at the same time .
