Cape Town Mayor Patricia De Lille says the city is likely to scrap the drought levy charge proposal during a special council sitting tomorrow, due to public outcry. The City will also be implementing level 6-B water restrictions from the first of next month, with users allowed only 50 litres per day. De Lille warns that the point of no return has been reached, as 60 percent of residents are disregarding the 87-litre daily quota usage.
