In this video I have tried to show how to measure the contact resistance of a vacuum circuit breaker. ABB vcb vd4 was tested in this video. it's an easy test. at first we have to connect the connector in the circuit breaker pole. Circuit breaker should closed. then click on the test and fast measure . we have injected 100 ampere current in every pole. at first we have measured the contact resistance of R phase then Y phase then B phase. the contact resistance of these phase were found ranging from 18 to 23 micro Ohm.
