Back in September, as part of a surprise birthday gift for my dad, I recorded a playthrough of Persona 5. He and my mom immediately fell in love and watching an episode or two has become a weekly tradition for the past few months. It has given me the chance to both discover my editing style and go through P5 Vanilla one last time before Royal comes out on March 31.

[ROAD TO ROYAL] PERSONA 5 (PART 22) – KANESHIRO’S PALACE

My memories from when I first played through this Palace still haunt me to this day: by the time I reached the vault room, I was having Joker pop every SP restorative I came across just so I could get through the Palace in one day. Not to mention the fact that I had to earn at least 100,000 yen during the dive to cover that rock Chihaya was trying to sell us. This kind of grinding is always stressful, but the SP Adhesives from Takemi really help ease the anxiety, even if only a little.

Also, the little dialogue bits up in the corner go by very fast; I tried recording the lines in post-production to make up for it, but I think I’ll just leave them alone from now on.
