This video continues with the idea of finding the distance between two complex numbers by deriving an algebraic formula. The formula will save time in solving these problems and will allow them to be solved without drawing a picture.

Essentially, the distance can be found between two complex numbers by graphing them on the complex plane, drawing a line between the two points, constructing a right triangle using the distance between the two points as the hypotenuse, and then using the Pythagorean Theorem to compute the distance.
