The former Defence Minister A.K. Antony, while speaking at en event in Thiruvananthapuram touched upon the issue of Congress's secularism. He hit the nail on the head that some sections of people in the country feel that the Congress panders to the minority communities too much to the disadvantage of the larger majority. He says that Congress policy deals with everyone equally, but the perception across the population is that the Congress only bats for a few communities.
