A time-lapse build of Airfix's 1/72 scale English Electric Lightning F.2A scale model kit, a supersonic RAF fighter aircraft from the Cold War era. It had an exceptional rate of climb, ceiling, and speed of Mach 2 (2,136 km/h) at 36k feet.

**The kit has optional refuelling probe and optional inlet covers.**

A very good 1:72 scale Lightning kit, however it has it's flaws and so I would only recommend this kit to more advanced modellers.

Airfix provided me with this kit for free, however they have not paid me or told me what to do or say. My opinions are honest and my own.
