The Original Lowrider Super Show went down this past Saturday during the Cinco de Mayo weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This is a different show from the Lowrider Magazine Super Show from a few months back. Original Lowrider is owned by Joe Ray, an OG in the lowrider scene and formerly from Lowrider Magazine. This was a 2 floor show which was exciting to hear but unfortunately things didn't pan out as most wanted. Nothing wrong with the show itself, the cars present were some of the most beautiful works of art in the Lowrider scene. The issue was with miscommunication.

Showtime was suppose to be at 12:00 p.m. but the crowd wasn't let in until 2:30! Rumors were that the fire department had to inspect the building before they could ok the entrance to people. What concluded was the cancellation of the car hop and the previously mentioned delayed entrance. My brother and I were there around 11:30 ish so we assumed that we wouldn't have to wait much longer. Boy were we WRONG! I felt that we should have been told what was going on and why, and definitely extended the show duration due to the delayed start.

So with that being said, I filmed the main floor fairly well. Towards the end of the video it is noticeable that I picked up the pace and only because I wanted to hit the second floor to get those rides on video. Well I did make it to the second floor but time was running out! I was walking fast enough to where it's noticeable on video and made for some shaky footage despite me using a gimbal to stabilize the image. So unfortunately I left the 2nd floor out of this video. I will find a way to use the footage somehow, either as shorts or reels for my Instagram page. I wish I could've gotten both floors done but it wasn't the case this year.
