Meanwhile SABC Correspondent, Sherwin Bryce-Pease has been re-elected president of the UN Correspondents Association. Bryce-Pease is the first correspondent from Africa to hold the position. On Friday, 15th December 2017, the Association will be hosting the annual UN media awards. Among the guests expected is the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres.
