Landing the Bearhawk 4-place in the backcountry at Muzzle station to meet a friend. The day was a perfect autumn afternoon, calm and cool conditions.
The plane is a kitset Bearhawk, built in New Zealand, running an IO-540 engine. During this landing we were loaded heavy with fuel, practically full cargo, and 4 adult passengers - so the touchdown speed looks faster than usual (about 45kts here).
You can hear by the air whistling in the air vents during the flare, which happens at high AoA.
