🍃Ingredients
2 cups rice - I used long grain rice, I think short
grain would be better( Use rice of your choice)
2 1/2 cup coconut milk or plant milk of your choice
Roughly 5 cups water in total
*** cook rice in 1 cup coconut milk and 3 cups water. Once rice cook add additional coconut milk and 1 cup water. The remaining cup water was added after adding the blended rice to the pot.
1/2 tsp salt
2 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
Coconut condensed milk ( I used 200 grams can natures charm coconut condensed milk) You can use whatever brand vegan coconut condensed available to your or use another sweetener of your choice.
***I also added some raw cane sugar for added sweetness.
Cook porridge over a medium heat. Once done turn off stove and sweeten porridge.
