Khushi Shrivastava, a studnet speaker spoke during the session "Media Trial - Is media the new judiciary?" She took media to be one of the strongest pillars of democracy that becomes the strength of the public in times when justice is denied. The power of media is commendable. However, on the flipside media has many a times stated bias arguments and judgements. This has proven to generate negative impacts and the judiciary gives a fair chance to every front to speak their sides. "Innocent until proven guilty" is the firm stand judiciary believes in and the media must not cross these boundaries.
