Is the fall of Raqqa really good news for the West?

The Syrian city - ISIL's de-facto headquarters - was home to thousands of jihadists from around the world.

It fell to a US-backed alliance of Syrian fighters over a week ago.

*Jean-Marc Rickli*, a research fellow at the International Centre for the Stude of Radicalisation at King's College in London told Euronews that while it DOES mean the end of the dream of a caliphate, it DOES NOT necessarily mean the end of ISIL.
