Greetings, fellow GIS enthusiasts. Wondering how to import pdf files with high resolution to the QGIS composer? It may seem impossible. In this qgis composer tutorial, I show you a quick workaround. It allows you to keep the high resolution of the pdf file and import it to the composer in QGIS. Then you can export image from composer, and the pdf file will still show. Importing PDF files with high resolution to the composer in QGIS is essential in creating great compositions.
Opening PDF files with Adobe Acrobat with anti-aliasing options may result in bad graphics. To prevent that, you change the setting in the “Page Display” section and uncheck the Optimize option. When you print the qgis map, the image will always show.
