0:36 - KTV CLUSTER GROWS TO 120 CASES; LARGEST ACTIVE CLUSTER IN S'PORE
The Covid-19 cluster linked to KTV outlets has grown to 120 people since the index case was identified five days ago, and poses a "major setback" to Singapore's reopening, said Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong on Friday (Jul 16) at a press conference held by the multi-ministry task force on Covid-19. 2:48 - DINE-IN TIGHTENED MEASURES
As a result of the growing KTV cluster, Singapore will tighten its rules on social gatherings starting next Monday until Aug 8. This includes limiting dining-in at food and beverage outlets to two persons, down from five persons currently.
However, fully-vaccinated individuals will continue to be able to dine in groups of up to five at eateries with systems to verify customers' vaccination status. Unvaccinated people with valid negative pre-event tests or recovered individuals may also join them. Read more: [ Ссылка ]
