I used this to drain and flush my 2013 Chevy Cruze transmission twice. Old fluid was almost black. It definitely needed a refresh. No issues after doing the change. Shifts smoother I feel like. Good preventative maintenance.
Did a drop pan transmission fluid change on my truck the other day and this product delivered! Look at the photo attached to this review. You can see just how burnt the old trans fluid was and how fresh this new AC Delco trans fluid is.
I bought two gallons bc 6 liters was enough for my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500
UPDATED DECEMBER 2018 - I did two drain and fills on my 2015 Malibu just after my original review. I did it with about 40,000 on my vehicle. I noticed a little bit smoother shift and I now have 65,000 miles on my vehicle.
So far very happy with the fluid. I am going to do another drain and fil in about 10,000 miles. I plan on doing it once a year.I have not used this product as I just received it.
But I was so confused when looking at these things I thought I would help in case someone had the same issue. My confusion was with ACDELCO 10-9395 and ACDEKCO 10-9244.
Tho 10-9244 has a different label on it and says full synthetic on the front label. Now I have no way of knowing if they are the exact same fluid, but the ACDELCO 10-9395 is full synthetic.
I would love to know if aACDELCO 10-9395 is the exact same as ACDELCO 10-9244. But anyway here is a photo of the back label of 10-9395
Always follow your manufacturers recommendation in your owners manual. My manual said Dexron VI so changed in 2009 Chevy Cobalt 4-speed Automatic as a preventive maintenance after 5 years (37k miles) from last transmission flush performed at the dealer.
Old liquid was still red and the magnet had fine black powder around it but nothing bigger. Bought 2 gallons but only needed 1.725 gallons (6.9 Qts). Noticeable improvement during shifts.
Cannot overstate the positive change in up/downshifting and cold weather responsiveness after a complete Dexron VI fluid flush.
(3 gallons) including a pan drop, drain, pan/magnet clean, Delco gasket/filter kit, adding one gallon to fill the empty pan, then flushing the remaining two gallons out at the trans cooler return line port at the upper radiator and adding at the dip stick full tube at 1/2 gallon intervals.
