Notice what happens to your body and mind when you are feeling impatient. When you feel like you have lost certain moments in your life due to circumstances out of your control. What are the thoughts at play here? What are the triggers that lead to such thoughts? As you begin to cherish and treasure the presence of your breath in every single moment, allow yourself to let go of that need for control. Accept every moment with an open mind - because every moment in life only happens once.

Mr Eric Lim spearheads Brahm Centre's curriculum development and research on mindfulness. He has delivered over 200 mindfulness courses, talks and workshops to over 6000 individuals who span across ages (young children, teenagers, young adults, working adults, elderly) and professions from education, government, financial and social service sectors. He is the second in Singapore to be a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher, conferred by the Mindfulness Center at Brown University School of Public Health, in collaboration with UMASS Memorial Health Care’s Center for Mindfulness. He is also a certified .b and Paws b teacher from the Mindfulness in Schools Project (UK), and a MOE-registered instructor. In 2017, Mr Lim was awarded the Young Model Caregiver (Merit) Award by AWWA as well as a Social and Health Manpower Development Programme Fellowship by the Ministry of Health.
