The GeForce 1080 vs 1070 comparison resulted in GTX 1080 being faster, ideally in a 4k and 1440p resolution. If you intend to play at 1080p the Geforce GTX 1070 is arguably a better choice for the price. But if you can spend $100 more, go for the GTX 1080. See the video for more details.

The GPUs were tested in gaming and benchmark to test the performance in varied scenarios. The resolutions that were tested were 1080p (Full HD), 1440p (QHD) and 4K (UHD) in the games: Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (pubg), Battlefield 1, Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, Call of Duty WW2, Rise of the Tomb Raider. And the benchmarks: Unigine Superposition, Futuremark 3DMark Time Spy, Futuremark 3DMark Fire Strike, As well as a power consumption test. No overclocking was performed.
