On some off-peak operations, MBTA Green Line trolleys run solo. Personally, they are remindful of Type-5 trolleys and PCC streetcars (which can be seen at Boylston Station on an unused track), which often ran alone as well. With the ongoing ridership drop, this may be happening more often today (although I cannot find out myself). Enjoy!
