The £100 Nissan Micra nightmare continues. Having been forced to buy this mouldy, smelly, broken car by a ‘mystery subscriber’ – I find bits missing from the engine bay. I therefore start to put this wrecked car back together. I further:

• find a 50 year old battery charger in the garage (and risk using it)
• learn about the Nissan Micra’s history from its paperwork (it was loved)
• battle hyperthermia because it’s very, very cold.
