President Barack Obama has completed his state visit to Britain with a key note address to both houses of parliament. In it he reassured the UK the so-called "special relationship" was alive and well and still held significance on the world stage.
"The time for our leadership is now," said the president."It was the United States and the United Kingdom and our democratic allies that shaped a world in which new nations could emerge and individuals could thrive."
