A hike to the summit of the Old Man Of Coniston in the Lake District, Also bagging the Wainwrights of Brim Fell, Swirl How, Great Carrs and Grey Friar. We also payed our respects at the WW2 bomber crash site just off the summit of Great Carrs. Before having to scramble down to Levers Water from Swirl How in the dark, finally pitching just before midnight.
Although this hike was supposed to me more about the wild camp it turned Into an absolute epic day on the fells !!!!
