I was delighted to secure a successful amendment to the Mediation Bill 2017 in the Seanad that will better safeguard the rights of domestic abuse victims in mediation processes.
In a number of speeches in the chamber, I spoke to the importance of recognising the impact of domestic violence in the legislation.
