We begin with the latest development on the security situation in parts of Baringo county where in a rare show of unity, political leaders some of whom are competing against each other, have agreed to halt campaigns until the persistent insecurity cases in Baringo south and north constituencies are dealt with. Led by Governor Stanley Kiptis, Mps William Cheptumo and Charles Kamuren among others, the leaders have asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene. They have also castigated their counterparts in Tiaty and West Pokot accusing them of remaining mum when lives are lost.
