DOPESHEET
Dalia Grybauskaite was sworn in for second term as the President of Lithuania.
The oath of office was administered by the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania Dainius Zalimas in presence of the Lithuanian parliament members.
Grybauskaite is the first female president of Lithuania who also became the first leader of the country to be reelected for a second five-year term in May.
She addressed her audience in March 11 Hall of the Seimas and Lithuanian people live on television after taking an oath for the second term.
During her speech, Grybauskaite called for enhanced efforts to strengthen Lithuanian security amid Ukraine-Rusia crisis.
The ceremony was also attended by Speaker of the Seimas Loreta Grauziniene and SocialDemocratic Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius who expressed his will to work with the president as a team.
Government had to return its power to the reelected President and made some minor changes in the cabinet. However, since Lithuania is a parliamentary democracy, Grybauskaite will have to continue working with the same government of Mr. Butkevicius.
Grybauskaite's responsibilities lies mostly with foreign policy, which many Lithuanians see as very successfull, especially after Grybauskaite's strong stance during Ukrainian crisis.
Grybauskaite won her second presidency with roughly 58 percent supportive votes in this May.

I truly believe in this President, I believe in her work. I like her position in foreign policy the most. I hope she will continue it.
Soundbite (Lithuanian), a man from Vilnius:
She should be more consistent, because she was quite chaotic. At first she ignores Barack Obama, later she says that we need even closer integration into Eurotlantic organizations, so I would like her to be more consistent.
Soundbite (Lithuanian), a man from Vilnius:
Her foreign policy is really good at the moment. Her reaction towards events in Ukraine are totally adequate. I think she just need to keep her back strong.
